“Trust your eyes! As a visual storyteller there are no “rules” set in place when it comes to lighting, composition, exposure, and color, only guidelines. In a lot of scenarios these guidelines need to be broken to enhance the story emotionally. Don’t be hesitant to use a unique or unorthodox composition, perspective, etc., as long as it benefits the story.”
