Big kudos to the whole FC team—your dedication to creating space for community, supporting fellow creatives, and highlighting an important cause is the good work. It’s not always glamorous, but we get to do this, and it makes our city that much more vibrant and connected.
This year, we teamed up with the City of Tacoma’s Environmental Services Department to reimagine the Ground2Sound Film Fest, bringing pop-up events across the city and hosting a dockside main event at the Foss Waterway Seaport. By uniting poets, painters, and filmmakers, the festival helped raise awareness about stormwater pollution in Puget Sound—because if it hits the ground, it hits the Sound!
