The Tacoma Dome has collected memories and stories for 40 years, and now it is time that we tell a few of them.
The Dome is home to many memories, from graduations to concerts to sporting events. Maybe you didn’t have a random gentleman give you the shirt off their back like Kwabi from the @thepeacebus did, but we could likely all recount a time or two under the iconic canopy.
We’ve shot hours of footage, bringing together the some stories that made The Dome possible and the Tacoma Dome experiences like Kwabi’s, that we all share.
We hope this project inspires our city to look to the future as we seek to keep building even more momentum!
We hope you’ll join us on August 16th for the first screening of this very special documentary celebrating 40 years of the Dome and the symbol of pride and home that it has become to Tacoma!
