The Dome loves Garth Brooks!
Check out this vintage gem from August 1993 where Garth Brooks sold out not 1, but 2 shows! The concerts had fans and media outlets alike flocking to the Dome in hopes of getting a glimpse of the iconic country stars World Tour.
KMPS FM live, KSTW 11 TV, a lottery ticket campout was even held INSIDE The Dome.
It’s no wonder in 2019 the Dome earned a spot on the list of the highest attended concert venues in the world, hitting 600,000 people.
It would be a long 20 years before Garth would grace the Dome’s stage again, but one thing is for sure, The Dome remains a place of community and camaraderie for not only the people of Tacoma, but of the entire state of Washington.
We’re pretty lucky to get to call it our own.
