Foster’s Boozy Recipe Feature: Bourbon Whiskey “NEAT”
Bourbon "Americas Native Spirit". When I think Bourbon, I think “Eagle Rare” a 10 year age stated bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
Let me tell you a bit about it.
The Nose: It has a slight smell of vintage leather, but as it unfold it has a beautiful sweetness, reminiscent of Burt caramel, a drizzle of butterscotch sauce, and a whisper of spiced vanilla…
The Palate: Now this is a bourbon. There is an abundant honey and caramel, combined with burnt toffee crisp and a presence of aged leather and oak. As it settles a hint of red fruit appears resulting in a very well rounded drink with a great mouth feel.
The Finish: Medium finish, gentle heat, with lots of sweetness and dry oak.
POUR ME ANOTHER PLEASE.
